Served for 7 years as lead engineering consultant and project manager for the Motorola Project 25 trunked simulcast radio
system, generating $5.5M in revenue for RCC. Led and directed all project phases, including: developing the planning report to
address system alternatives and cost estimates; writing the competitive procurement RFP; drafting an extensive evaluation of
vendor proposals; and supporting contract negotiations with two system vendors. Also served as the city's project manager
throughout the 5-year implementation of the system. The system includes 48 repeater sites, 72 microwave hops, and supports
19,000 radio users.
Served as the Black & Veatch lead engineering consultant and project manager for the Project 25 trunked simulcast radio system
and dispatch center relocation project. Led the planning, procurement, and implementation of the project. Motorola won the
contract with a proposal to integrate with the City of Plano’s existing PAWM network.
